Sandy trained and worked as a nurse and as a physician in England,
then worked in
Bermuda as a physician for 4 years.
She came to the U.S. in 1985 and managed
the poison center at University of Virginia
until entering her residency in
primary care internal medicine at Brown University/ Rhode Island Hospital.
Sandy moved to the Triangle area in 1996 and opened Women's Primary Care in
1998.
